The English Harbour Rum Sherry Cask Finish Antigua Small Batch 003 is a limited special bottling from the renowned Antigua Distillery, which is known for its elegant, finely balanced rums. This small batch edition is the result of artisanal perfection and exceptional barrel ageing, which gives the rum a special depth and complexity.

The rum is first distilled using traditional methods and matured for several years in ex-bourbon barrels before being aged in sherry barrels for the finish. This final ageing process gives the rum a special fruitiness and velvety texture with fine wine notes. The combination of tropical ageing and sherry cask finish ensures a harmonious balance between sweetness, spice and oak character.

With an increased alcohol content of 46% vol., this small batch rum remains powerful, yet smooth and aromatic.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with reddish reflections.

Nose: Fruity aromas of sultanas, dried fruit, vanilla and oak with a hint of sherry sweetness.

Flavour: Soft and complex with notes of dark caramel, honey, roasted nuts, spicy oak and fine sherry spice.

Finish: Long-lasting, elegant and slightly dry with a perfect balance of sweetness and spice.
