The history of the family-run business Beniamino Maschio began in the mid-19th century in San Pietro di Feletto, Italy, when Antonio Maschio founded a small distillery, thereby laying the foundations for the family’s journey into the world of grappa. In 2002, Beniamino Maschio took over the Distilleria dell’Alpe and expanded the range to include traditional Venetian liqueurs and gins.

Beniamino Maschio, known as a ‘lover of single-varietal grappa’, remains true to his passion for grappa and creates Brentè Grappa using traditional production methods. With the utmost care, a blend is created from the finest grappas, distilled from Prosecco pomace and then aged for 3 to 5 years in small oak casks. This slow ageing process is perfected by a final refinement in barrique casks.

The result is a first-class grappa, characterised by its straw-yellow colour and its intense, harmonious bouquet.

Tasting Note

Nose: Fruity, with notes of vanilla, cocoa and honey.

Palate: Delicate, smooth, with notes of vanilla, fruit, cocoa and honey.

Finish: Long-lasting.
