Don Ramón Mezcal Joven has been double-distilled in a pot still and is made from 100 per cent Espadín agave from the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. The agaves mature for a total of 6–7 years. This mezcal has a very robust and complex character, characterised by smoky notes as well as subtle hints of damp earth and cooked agave.
