Description
Description
The Bràulio Riserva Speciale Amaro Bitter is an exceptional herbal bitter from the heart of the Italian Alps and represents over a century of Italian craftsmanship and tradition. It is a tribute to the long family tradition of Bràulio, whose origins date back to the 19th century in Bormio, Lombardy. This Riserva Speciale is made according to a secret recipe that has been preserved for generations, thanks to the expertise and sensitivity of the master blender.
The carefully selected blend of berries, bark, herbs and roots is infused with alcohol and pure spring water from the Alps. After gentle filtering, the Amaro matures for at least 36 months in oak barrels deep in the heart of the Berger. This long ageing gives it its unmistakable balsamic freshness, gentle flavour and exceptional roundness. With an alcohol content of 24.7 % vol., Bràulio Riserva Speciale has an impressive balance between herbal intensity, bitterness and subtle sweetness.
Compared to the classic Amaro Bràulio, the Riserva Speciale is more complex, more structured and has a fine woody flavour, which is the result of the Langs barrel ageing process. The result is an authentic piece of Italian gourmet culture - elegant, aromatic and deeply rooted in the nature of the Alps.
Tasting Note
Colour: Deep chestnut brown with golden reflections.
Nose: Fresh and aromatic with notes of herbs, eucalyptus, resin, roots and fine oak.
Taste: Full-bodied, round and harmonious with nuances of alpine herbs, citrus peel, bark, liquorice and a light woody note.
Finish: Langs, balsamic and delicately tart with an elegant herbal flavour.
The Bràulio Riserva Speciale Amaro unfolds its unique character neat at room temperature or on the rocks. It is ideal as a digestif after a rich meal or as a base for elegant cocktails such as the Amaro Negroni or the Mountain Sour. In culinary terms, it harmonises perfectly with dark chocolate, mature cheese, dried fruit or desserts with nutty flavours. A traditional Alpine Amaro that impresses with its craftsmanship, maturity and authenticity.
