Glen Scotia Victoriana is a particularly expressive single malt Scotch whisky from the historic Glen Scotia distillery in Campbeltown, which is renowned for its powerful, maritime-inspired whiskies. This bottling pays homage to the Victorian era – Campbeltown’s heyday, when the town was regarded as the whisky capital of Scotland.

The Victoriana is produced in small batches and matured in a carefully selected combination of American oak casks, followed by a finishing period in heavily charred oak casks, which lends it its intense, deep character. It is bottled at cask strength at 54.2% ABV, unfiltered and without colouring – in keeping with traditional craftsmanship.

The result is a powerful, complex whisky with elegant sweetness, subtle spice and a hint of smoke, which delights connoisseurs as well as discerning whisky lovers in search of an exceptional Campbeltown dram.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with coppery glints.

Nose: Rich and intense, with notes of dark caramel, vanilla, toasted wood, dark berries and a hint of smoke.

Palate: Full-bodied, robust and creamy with flavours of burnt sugar, dark chocolate, oak, spices and subtle fruitiness.

Finish: Long-lasting, dry and spicy with subtle toasty notes and a gentle hint of smoke.

Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to reveal its full aromatic depth. Ideal as a dram for special occasions or as a highlight in a tasting.
