The Douglas Laing Old Particular Jura 15 Years Old Single Cask Malt 2008 is a distinctive single-cask bottling from the highly regarded Old Particular range, which is dedicated to authentically showcasing the character of regional distilleries. This rare island single malt comes from the Isle of Jura, one of Scotland’s most ruggedly romantic whisky regions. It was distilled in February 2008 and bottled in February 2023, following a long maturation period of 15 years in refill hogshead cask DL17222.

With an alcohol content of 48.4% ABV, this single malt was bottled in its natural state – without chill filtration and without the addition of colouring agents. The slow maturation in the refill hogshead allowed the Jura distillate to develop its maritime, slightly spicy notes without being overpowered by the wood. The release is limited to just 297 bottles worldwide, making this whisky an exclusive collector’s item for lovers of honest, unblended single malts.
