R. Jelínek Fernet Liqueur is a classic Czech herbal liqueur whose origins date back to the time of the Habsburg Monarchy in the late 19th century. This time-honoured speciality is produced near the famous spa town of Luhačovice in the Czech Republic, a region with a long history of herbalism and the art of distillation. To this day, the name R. The recipe for this Fernet liqueur is based on a carefully balanced selection of aromatic herbs and spices, which lend the liqueur its distinctive, tart character. Tasting Note

Colour: A dark, rich brown.

Nose: A slightly minty aroma, characterised by intense herbal notes, aniseed, cloves, raisins and fresh mint.

Palate: Spicy, tart and complex, with pronounced herbal notes and a subtle bitterness.

Finish: Slightly bitter, dry and long-lasting.

R. Jelínek Fernet Liqueur is traditionally served neat and well chilled as a digestif. It is also excellent as a classic after-dinner liqueur or as a robust ingredient in selected cocktails.
