The El Dorado VERSAILLES Single Still Finest Demerara Rum 2009 is an exceptional vintage bottling from the renowned El Dorado Distillery in Guyana. This fine rum originates from one of the last remaining wooden pot stills, the historic Versailles Single Wooden Pot Still, which is renowned for producing intense and complex rums.

This rum was distilled in 2009 and matured for over a decade in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak, allowing it to develop an impressive balance of depth, spice and fruitiness. Distillation in the wooden pot still lends it a particularly distinctive, aromatic character with robust oak and spicy notes.

With an alcohol content of 40% ABV, the El Dorado Versailles 2009 is a complex yet approachable rum that cuts a fine figure both neat and in exclusive cocktails.

Tasting Note

Colour: Dark gold with amber highlights.

Nose: Intense aromas of vanilla, dark chocolate, dried fruit and toasted oak.
