St. Kilian MARZIPAN CREAM cream liqueur is a creamy speciality liqueur from the German St. Kilian Distillers distillery, with marzipan, almonds and caramel taking centre stage. A distinctive feature is the alcoholic base: the cream liqueur is produced using St. Kilian Single Malt Spirit, made from 100 per cent barley malt. This is double-distilled in St. Kilian’s characteristic copper stills, thus forming a high-quality base for the creamy recipe. The combination of single malt spirit and cream liqueur creates a distinctive style that blends pronounced marzipan aromas with toffee, almonds and subtle hints of chocolate.

With an alcohol content of 23 per cent and a 0.5-litre bottle, St. Kilian MARZIPAN CREAM is particularly suited to the cooler months, though it is equally versatile when used in desserts and hot drinks. The marzipan cream liqueur is bottled in the distinctive matt black St. Kilian pot-still bottle, whose shape is reminiscent of the distillery’s stills. To ensure a consistent texture, the bottle should be swirled briefly or shaken gently before serving. The liqueur should be stored in a cool, dark Lager and, once opened, kept in the fridge and consumed within six months.

Tasting Note

Colour: Latte-brown with a creamy appearance.

Nose: Intense marzipan with aromatic almonds and toffee, accompanied by a subtle hint of milk chocolate.

Palate: Creamy and full-bodied with sweet marzipan, creamy toffee and almonds, complemented by delicate milk chocolate.

Finish: Long-lasting and creamy-sweet with marzipan, almonds and soft toffee.

Served well chilled, St. Kilian MARZIPAN CREAM cream liqueur is particularly well suited as a creamy digestif and for cosy moments of indulgence during the colder months. As a dessert accompaniment, it pairs well with vanilla ice cream, chocolate cake, tiramisu, Kaiserschmarrn or desserts featuring almonds and nuts. Espresso, coffee or hot chocolate can also be enhanced with a small amount of marzipan cream liqueur. For a simple dessert, pour the liqueur over vanilla or chocolate ice cream and top with roasted almonds.
