The LAGG Single Malt Scotch Whisky KILMORY Edition 46% vol. 0.7 l + GB is the flagship of the Lagg Distillery’s core range on the Scottish Isle of Arran. Founded in 2017, the distillery aims to create a characterful, peaty island whisky that reflects the original style of historic whisky production on Arran. The Lagg Kilmory Single Malt is made from carefully selected barley malt and produced using water from the distillery’s own borehole. This Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the islands embodies a modern yet tradition-conscious style that brings out the distillery’s smoky character particularly clearly.


Maturation takes place entirely in first-fill American oak bourbon casks, enabling the whisky to develop a harmonious combination of peaty smoke, fruitiness and sweet vanilla notes. Following double distillation, Lagg Kilmory Single Malt Scotch Whisky is bottled at 46% ABV. The distillery deliberately avoids chill filtration and colouring agents, ensuring that the natural character of this smoky Arran Whisky is fully preserved. The Kilmory Edition reflects the distillery’s signature style and combines earthy peaty notes, fresh citrus and maritime island aromas to create a lively yet balanced whisky profile.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold with amber highlights.

Nose: Sweet and peaty aromas with citrus, tropical fruit notes, subtle ash and earthy nuances.

Palate: Fruity and lively with notes of citrus, crème brûlée, fresh herbs and grass, accompanied by dominant peaty and earthy smoky notes.

Finish: Long-lasting with peppery, earthy and ashy flavours.

Lagg Kilmory Single Malt Scotch Whisky is ideal for enjoying neat, to fully savour the balance of smoky peat, fruity notes and bourbon cask flavours. This smoky island whisky from Scotland pairs particularly well with grilled meat, BBQ dishes, smoked salmon or strong cheese. The whisky also reveals its aromatic depth particularly beautifully when paired with dark chocolate or desserts featuring caramel and vanilla.
