The Hödl Hof distillery, nestled amongst orchards and vineyards, is renowned for its long-standing tradition. The high quality of the distillates is ensured by a 300-litre rough distillation kettle and a 200-litre fine distillation kettle, both made of pure copper. The fruit, sourced from the distillery’s own orchards, is taken directly to the fermentation cellars, where gentle, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place. In keeping with old Styrian tradition, a double distillation is carried out, with only the high-proof ‘heart’ of the distillate being used for maturation in wood, glass or stainless steel.

Zirberol is a bitter liqueur sweetened with fruit and particularly well-suited to the preparation of cocktails and mixed drinks. It is characterised by the natural flavour of the forests and the juice of fresh Swiss stone pine cones, which it infuses into the drink. The liqueur offers a flavourful experience whilst having a low alcohol content.
