Big Kahuna PINEAPPLE Gin is a tropical-style pineapple gin in which pineapple clearly takes centre stage in the botanical composition. The recipe combines the classic gin ingredient, juniper, with a generous portion of pineapple, as well as apricots, oranges, lavender and coriander. As a result, the gin combines exotic fruit with floral, citrusy and spicy notes. Inspired by Hawaii, the concept captures the relaxed ‘Aloha’ and island culture in its name and design, whilst the carefully balanced botanicals ensure a distinctive profile within the category of fruity premium gins. Big Kahuna Pineapple Gin is bottled at 40% ABV in a 0.7-litre bottle.

In addition to its tropical concept, Big Kahuna PINEAPPLE Gin 40% also has a sustainability aspect. For every bottle sold, one euro is donated to the Coral Reef Alliance, an organisation dedicated to the protection and conservation of coral reefs and marine ecosystems. Big Kahuna PINEAPPLE Gin is particularly well-suited to summery gin and tonics, where a dry or neutral tonic water won’t overpower the pronounced pineapple flavour. For a simple Tropical Gin & Tonic, serve 5 cl of Big Kahuna with around 10 to 15 cl of tonic water over plenty of ice, garnished with fresh pineapple or an orange zest. The Pineapple Gin also provides a perfect base for tropical cocktails featuring lime, coconut water or soda. As an accompaniment to food, it pairs particularly well with grilled prawns, Asian dishes, fruity salads or desserts featuring pineapple and coconut.
