Cihuatán Suerte is a limited edition rum from Licorera Cihuatán, which has been presenting unique flavour profiles since 2018. In 2023, the rum distillery from El Salvador will present Cihuatán Suerte.

The inspiration for this rum comes from the Mayan tradition of filtering water with quartz crystals. Master blender Gabriela Ayala decided to filter the rums from her own distillery in a similar way to create Cihuatán Suerte.

The Cihuatán Suerte Rum El Salvador Limited Edition 2023 has been matured for between 15 and 17 years and consists of a blend of light and heavy rums that have been aged in new American white oak barrels.

This ageing gives the rum a balance between spicy, sweet and fruity flavours.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber.

Nose: Sweet and spicy notes.

Flavour: Salted caramel, candied figs, espresso, cinnamon.

Finish: Langs on the palate.
