Legendario’s Elixir de Cuba is a ‘Punch au Rhum’ – in other words, a rum liqueur based on an authentic Cuban liqueur with an average ageing period of 7 years. After ageing in American oak casks, this Legendario is then further enhanced with an essence of macerated raisins. This can also be recognised by the suspended particles, which originate from the added grape essence and are a natural component of this liqueur. It is this blend that gives the Elixir de Cuba its particularly smooth and, above all, sweet flavour. Exclusive, delicate and, by its very nature, unlike any other traditional Cuban rum.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber.

Nose: Exotic, with notes of sugar cane, grapes, raisins and spicy aromas.

Palate: Full-bodied, round, smooth, sweet, delicate.

Finish: Long-lasting.

Best enjoyed neat and slightly chilled. However, it is also perfect as a mixed drink with fresh fruit juices.
