Botran Roaju is an exclusive blend of carefully selected, matured rums that undergo a unique refinement process in former wine barrels from the Roa del Duero region - the home of our founders. Produced annually in limited editions, this rum is characterised by its special production method.

The maturation period of Botran Roaju utilises a varied selection of casks: including ex-American whiskey casks, ex-American whiskey medium toast casks, ex-Spanish wine (sherry) casks, ex-Portuguese wine (port) casks and finally ex-wine casks from Roa del Duero, Spain.

The final maturation in Roa del Duero wine barrels imbues the rum with an unmistakable regional character that combines traditional rum-making techniques with the characteristic notes of the Roa del Duero wine region, making it ideal for rum enthusiasts.

Tasting Note

Colour: Mahogany.

Nose: Agave, vanilla, notes of citrus fruit, wood.

Flavour: Intense, agave, notes of wood, citrus fruits.
