With a 95 per cent rye base and a small proportion of 5 per cent malted barley, distilled in copper stills, the Boxergrail combines all the characteristic features of a high-quality rye whisky – spicy, robust and with remarkable smoothness. The high proportion of rye provides the typical spicy note, whilst the malted barley enhances the smoothness and complexity. The 47.5% ABV ensures that the whisky showcases its strength and complexity to perfection.

The name Boxergrail pays homage to the boxing culture of Louisville, a city where almost every neighbourhood is home to a boxing gym and which has produced numerous champions. Tasting Note

Colour: Dark amber with golden highlights.

Nose: A robust rye spice, combined with caramel, vanilla and a hint of oak, which together create a harmonious and complex bouquet.

Palate: Full-bodied and complex, with intense rye flavours that give way to sweet caramel, cinnamon and vanilla, accompanied by a subtle hint of oak.

Finish: Long and warming, with an elegant blend of spice, oak and a sweet vanilla note that lingers gently on the palate.
