The Macallan A Night on Earth The Journey 2023 is the third release in the annual ‘A Night on Earth’ series, which celebrates the New Year and is released at the end of each year.

This special whisky is characterised by the use of a balanced blend of first-fill American ex-bourbon casks and European and American sherry oak casks.

It was developed in collaboration with the renowned Chinese artist Nini Sum, whose artwork perfectly captures the essence of New Year’s Eve: spending time with family and friends, reminiscing about the past, and the warm atmosphere of this special evening. On the exterior of the packaging, she symbolises the time spent together, heartfelt conversations and the breathtaking fireworks lighting up the night sky. The exterior of The Macallan, meanwhile, reflects the hustle and bustle of city life, whilst the interior of the bottle embodies Nini Sum’s homeland.

In this way, The Macallan ‘A Night on Earth 2023’ becomes a work of art that uniquely captures the magic and significance of New Year’s Eve.
