The Michter’s Distillery, which was newly built in 2015, is based in Shively, a suburb of Louisville, Kentucky. This modern distillery, which builds on a long tradition, combines historical heritage with contemporary technology.

Michter’s US1 Kentucky Single Barrel Straight Rye Whisky, produced by one of the oldest distilleries in the United States, is characterised by its high-quality production from American rye. After distillation, the whisky is matured for five to eight years in new, charred oak casks. This meticulous maturation process, which develops the deep and complex flavours, is crucial to the whisky’s distinctive character.

The whisky is then bottled barrel by barrel, preserving the individual nuances of each barrel. This makes Michter's US1 Kentucky Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey a unique treat for connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike.
