The Polz Winery, situated in southern Styria, Austria, is distinguished by its ideal wine-growing location. Polz Sauvignon Blanc Südsteiermark Ried Hochgrassnitzberg, made exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grapes, is characterised by its growth on Muschelkalk soils. Ageing in large wooden barrels lends it a unique structure and depth. With a ageing potential extending to 2031 and sealed with a natural cork, this wine guarantees exceptional development and flavour evolution over the years.

Tasting Note

Golden yellow with green highlights in the glass. On the nose, very spicy with notes of gooseberries and blackcurrants. Complex on the palate with subtle minerality. A long-lasting and inviting finish.

Residual sugar: 1.2 g/l

Serving temperature: 12–14 °C

An excellent accompaniment to Japanese tempura vegetables and sole with sauce Normande.
