Pol Roger Champagne Réserve Brut is an iconic champagne with an alcohol content of 12.5 per cent by volume, which perfectly reflects the classic elegance and time-honoured craftsmanship of the House of Pol Roger. The renowned champagne house was founded in Épernay in 1849 and is now one of France’s most prestigious producers. Pol Roger became particularly well known as Winston Churchill’s favourite champagne – a mark of quality, style and consistency.

The cuvée consists of equal parts of the three classic Champagne grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. This carefully composed blend ensures a harmonious balance of structure, freshness and elegance. Pol Roger Réserve Brut is aged on the lees for at least 36 months in the house’s particularly cool, deep cellars – significantly longer than required by law. This extended ageing gives it its fine perlage, complexity and creamy texture. As a classic non-vintage Champagne, it combines the diversity of different vintages with consistently high quality.

Tasting Note

In the glass, Pol Roger Réserve Brut displays a radiant, pale golden colour with a fine, long-lasting perlage. On the nose, there are aromas of pear, apricot, citrus fruits and white flowers, complemented by subtle notes of brioche and hazelnut. On the palate, it is lively and well-balanced, with elegant freshness, subtle minerality and a creamy mouthfeel. The finish is long, silky and accompanied by subtle spice.
