The Demerara Distillery in Guyana, situated on the tropical north coast of South America, has a long history, having been processing sugar cane since 1670. The premium brand El Dorado has earned a worldwide reputation as a byword for high-quality rum.

This rum is the result of a combination of Enmore and Diamond Coffey stills and Port Mourant double wooden pot stills. It has been matured for 12 years in selected oak casks.

This rum is a unique blend of Enmore and Diamond Coffey stills, the Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Still and the Versailles Single Wooden Pot Still. This 15-year-old rum has been named ‘World’s Best Rum’ for the fourth year running, highlighting its first-class quality and sophistication, achieved through its long ageing period in old oak casks.

El Dorado’s blended rums are produced by blending different vintages or batches, as well as rums from different stills.

This rum is aged for at least 21 years in carefully selected oak casks.
