The Ben Nevis Distillery is situated near Scotland’s highest mountain. The water used to produce this whisky rises from a source at an impressive 1,345 metres above sea level. This water undergoes natural filtration as it flows through peat, Granit and rock before being collected in a small loch called Coire Leis.
The Coire Leis range comprises one of two long-awaited original bottlings from the Ben Nevis Distillery. Although ‘distillery bottlings’ are occasionally available, they are rather rare in Europe.
This single malt whisky has been matured for 10 years in oak casks.
The Ben Nevis Distillery takes pride in utilising the natural resources of its surroundings to produce a high-quality whisky.
Tasting Note
Colour: Amber.
Nose: Floral, honey, citrus fruits, toffee, vanilla.
Palate: Spicy, muesli, dark chocolate.
Finish: Long-lasting.
