‘Caminho do Sul Itália’ takes the team from Altonaer Spirituosen Manufaktur on an aromatic journey along the Italian Adriatic coast. Max and Stephan set off from Hamburg on two vintage Vespas, crossing the Alps to Trieste, the capital of coffee. There, they gain an insight into the world of baristas and green coffee traders. A special stop at Lake Garda takes them to the renowned Omkafè coffee roastery.

Caminho do Sul Italia pays homage to Italian coffee culture by blending the alluring aroma of freshly ground coffee with the purity of a fine juniper distillate.

The design of the ceramic bottle celebrates this combination with a creative motif: a helmet, adorned with coffee beans and the Italian flag, crowns the design. Beneath it is a coffee cup, symbolically capturing the gin’s distinctive flavour.

Tasting Note

Colour: Clear.

Nose: Delicate, fresh juniper, hints of coffee, Indonesian Arabica beans.

Palate: Spicy notes of coriander and cardamom, fresh lemons, creamy noisette, hazelnuts and dark chocolate.

Finish: Long-lasting, complex.
