The SHINOBU Distillery, situated in Japan’s Niigata coastal region, is surrounded by the ‘three white treasures’: snow, rice and sake. It is here, under the guidance of Master Blender Usami Ken, that the SHINOBU Pure Malt Whiskies are crafted.

The Shinobu Whisky Pure Malt 10YO Lightly Peated is matured for over a decade in sherry and bourbon hogshead casks, before undergoing a finishing in fine Mizunara oak, which has been renowned since the 1930s for its distinctive aromas of apples, pears, cloves and nutmeg. The subtle peaty aromas enrich the SHINOBU 10YO with complex notes of seaweed and smoke.

All Shinobu Whiskies are unfiltered and contain no colourings, to preserve their natural complexity and depth.
