The Tres Hombres La Palma Fuerte 10 Años Edition 62 2023 is a powerful and expressive rum with an alcohol content of 44% vol. and a bottle size of 0.7 l. The name ‘Fuerte’ reflects the strength and expressiveness of this rum, which make it a true meisterwerk from the Aldea Distillery. Made from fresh sugarcane juice, the rum was aged for over ten years and then further refined in Tawny Port, Oloroso Sherry and Moscatel wine casks, giving it a complex and multi-layered aroma.

Another unique feature of the Tres Hombres La Palma Fuerte 10 Años Edition 62 is its maturation at sea. Following cask maturation, the rum embarked on a journey of around six months in the hold of a sailing ship, which is characterised by its emission-free operation without an engine. This special ageing process aboard the cargo ship lends the rum not only a distinctive freshness, but also a powerful elegance and depth. A total of just 1,298 bottles of this unique rum were bottled, making it a limited-edition rarity.

The bottle labels feature motifs of the Tres Hombres and their adventurous voyages. Each bottle is sealed with a natural cork and coated with beeswax, which is ground using natural colour pigments from a traditional windmill in Zaandam. This not only gives the rum authentic, eco-friendly packaging, but also underlines Tres Hombres’ natural and sustainable approach.
