Description
Chivas Regal EXTRA 13 Years Old RUM CASK Selection Blended Scotch Whisky 40% ABV 1l in a gift box online kaufen
Chivas Regal Extra 13 Years Old Rum Cask Selection is a special blended Scotch whisky that has been matured for over 13 years in oak casks and finished in selected rum casks. This special cask finishing lends the bottling an exotic, fruity note and sets it apart distinctly from the classic Chivas style. The combination of matured grain and malt whiskies, complemented by the secondary maturation in Caribbean rum casks, creates a balanced interplay of sweet, tropical flavours and the characteristic smoothness for which Chivas Regal is renowned.
The Chivas Regal Extra 13 range is inspired by the brand’s history and international influence. The Rum Cask Finish brings a new, exciting dimension to the blend – with hints of brown sugar, tropical fruits and a touch of spice. Bottled at 40 % ABV in a 1-litre bottle and presented in a stylish gift box, this release is aimed at both connoisseurs of smooth blends and fans of special cask finishes.
Tasting Note
Colour: A warm golden hue.
Nose: Sweet vanilla, tropical fruits, sugar cane and a hint of coconut.
Palate: Smooth and rounded with notes of caramelised sugar, ripe bananas, toffee and a subtle hint of spice.
Finish: Medium, harmonious and slightly sweet with an exotic aftertaste.
Ideal neat, on the rocks or as a base for premium rum-inspired cocktails such as the Old Fashioned with a tropical twist. Also an excellent choice when paired with Caribbean desserts or fruity cakes. Chivas Regal Extra 13 Rum Cask combines the Scottish art of blending with Caribbean flair – a characterful blend for anyone who wishes to combine classic quality with new flavour profiles.
