Distilled in 2011, this exclusive bottling was created under the guidance of Master Distiller Billy Walker, who is renowned for his exceptional expertise in cask selection. The whisky was initially matured in American oak casks before undergoing its elaborate finish in three hand-selected cask types: Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, Madeira casks and Port Cuvée casks. This exceptional combination creates a complex and harmonious interplay of aromas that impressively reflects Billy Walker’s signature style.


The name ‘Cuvée’ originates from the French wine world and is derived from the term ‘cuve’, meaning cask or tank. It describes the artful blending of different wines to create a harmonious overall composition. Billy Walker applied this principle to whisky production by blending whiskies from different cask maturations. The result is a particularly complex single malt whisky that perfectly combines fruity sweetness, spicy depth and elegant cask notes. This bottling was created exclusively for a German importer and is therefore one of GlenAllachie’s most sought-after special editions.

Nose: Dark berries, raisins, honey, vanilla, dried fruit, delicate spices and toasted oak.
