The Transcontinental Rum Line FRENCH WEST INDIES VO rum is an agricole rum creation that stands out for its production and ageing methods. This rum is distilled using Creole Columns, a traditional distillation method renowned for its ability to preserve the complex aromas of sugar cane. It is then aged in American oak casks, whose wood structure and previous use enrich the rum with an additional variety of flavours.

The ageing of this rum takes place in two phases, making use of both the natural climatic conditions of the tropics and the more temperate climate of Europe. In the first phase, the rum is aged for at least three years under intense tropical conditions, which ensure accelerated interaction between the rum and the oak of the casks. Following this initial ageing period, the rum is transported to Europe, where it undergoes a further ageing process lasting approximately one year.

The result of this carefully monitored and controlled two-stage ageing process is an Agricole rum of exceptional quality and complexity.
