Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with amber highlights.

Nose: A robust blend of smoky peat, spicy notes and a hint of sweet caramel, followed by dried fruit and a subtle hint of oak.

Palate: Full-bodied and rich, with intense flavours of dark chocolate, red apple, spices and an elegant sherry sweetness that blends perfectly with the smoky peatiness.

Finish: Long and warming, with a lingering peaty note accompanied by subtle hints of oak and vanilla.

Laphroaig The Cask Legacy Edition is excellent enjoyed neat or with a drop of water to allow the flavours to unfold further. This whisky is ideal with mature cheeses such as Pecorino or Comté, as well as dark chocolate.
