The Campbeltown Malts Festival is an annual celebration of the region’s rich heritage of whisky-making. Every May, the few surviving distilleries open their doors to local residents and visitors from afar. For the staff at Glen Scotia, this event marks the highlight of the year – an opportunity to meet friends and make new ones whilst enjoying a dram together in the Victorian whisky capital.

Glen Scotia, one of the few remaining distilleries in the region, embodies the unique heritage and community spirit that characterise whisky-making in Campbeltown. Despite the demise of many other local distilleries, Glen Scotia has persevered and now stands proudly among the last of its kind. Its whisky, presented year after year as a limited edition at the festival, surprises with its character and quality.

Glen Scotia’s 2024 festival bottling is no exception. Unpeated and fully matured in first-fill bourbon casks, finished in the finest Fino sherry casks for at least six months, and bottled at cask strength at 56.2% ABV, it offers a unique tasting experience for whisky enthusiasts. In addition, it is presented with a comprehensive whisky experience on the packaging and a range of supporting initiatives and benefits.
