This limited edition is named after Sir William Murray, the second Marquess of Tullibardine, who fought for the Jacobites on 13 November 1715 at the Battle of Sheriffmuir on the Ochil Hills above the Tullibardine distillery. Launched in 2016, the Marquess Collection honours famous and historic figures who held the title of Marquess of Tullibardine in Scotland for centuries, and pays tribute to the rich history of the Tullibardine region in the Highlands.

Tullibardine The Murray is matured for 13 years in first-fill bourbon casks before being finished in ex-French red wine casks. This single malt is not chill-filtered, which preserves its natural flavours and complex structure. This special maturation method gives the whisky a remarkable depth and a rich flavour that delights connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike.

The combination of the long maturation period and the final ageing in red wine casks creates a unique balance that impressively reflects the heritage of the Tullibardine distillery.
