Leo Hillinger is a visionary entrepreneur and winegrower whose passion for viticulture has earned him international recognition. His winery, which today comprises an impressive 100 hectares of vineyards, is renowned not only in Austria but worldwide for its excellent wines. These wines are exported to over 20 countries around the world, underlining the global presence and popularity of the Hillinger brand. Hillinger’s focus on sustainable viticultural practices and organic production plays a key role in ensuring that his wines impress with their exceptional quality and purity.

Following years of training in Europe and California, Hillinger purchased 12 hectares of vineyards, thereby laying the foundations for his successful winery in Jois, which opened in 2004. The business has expanded to include several wine shops and bars across Austria and a long-standing partnership with the Constantia Glen winery in South Africa. In 2012, Hillinger was named ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ by Ernst & Young, highlighting his outstanding role in the wine industry.

Hillinger Secco Rosé PINK RIBBON Alcohol-Free offers an exceptional taste experience – completely alcohol-free. This fruity, sparkling Secco is first fermented as a still wine in stainless-steel tanks before being carbonated and dealcoholised using vacuum distillation. With a ageing potential of 2–3 years and sealed with a fine natural cork, it guarantees lasting freshness.

Leo Hillinger is a long-standing partner of the Pink Ribbon initiative. Tasting Note

A delicate rosé in the glass. On the nose, it is harmonious and fruity, with notes of ripe strawberries. On the palate, it offers a fine, persistent effervescence, well-integrated acidity and hints of strawberries. The finish is long-lasting and well-balanced.
