For over 100 years, the Karl Inführ sparkling wine house has been synonymous with tradition and excellence in Austrian sparkling wine production and is regarded as the country’s most award-winning sparkling wine house. With a deep understanding of quality and craftsmanship, the company produces its exquisite sparkling wines using the renowned Charmat method. This method, named after its inventor Eugène Charmat, enables fermentation to take place in pressure-resistant tanks, which gives the sparkling wine a fine effervescence and consistently high quality.

The entry-level sparkling wine, Le Grand Rouge, is made from 100% carefully selected Zweigelt grapes. After maturation, the sparkling wine is bottled and sealed with a natural cork to perfectly preserve its freshness and aroma.

Tasting Note

Ruby red in the glass. On the nose and on the palate, it offers intense yet delicate aromas of ripe cherries and berries. A fine effervescence enlivens the flavour. Long-lasting finish.
