Cardenalito 9 rum is a blend of distillates aged between 9 and 10 years, carefully selected from Central American countries such as Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic and Guyana. After import, the rum is matured and refined in oak and cherry wood casks in Lager facilities in Italy.

Thanks to the special ageing techniques, the quality of the casks and the region’s unique microclimate, it is possible to significantly enhance the rum’s flavour profile. These ideal conditions help the rum to develop exceptional depth and complexity. The careful selection of the distillates and their subsequent ageing in Italy result in a harmonious and well-balanced final product.

The long ageing period in the selected wooden casks intensifies the aromas and gives the rum a smooth texture that sets it apart. The interplay of these factors results in a rum that perfectly showcases the diversity and sophistication of the raw materials used.
