The Glenfarclas Distillery is one of the oldest family-run distilleries in Scotland, renowned for its tradition and quality in the production of single malt whisky. This special whisky is matured for nine years in premium Oloroso sherry casks, which lend it its distinctive character and complexity. The choice of Oloroso sherry casks is crucial to the development of the rich flavours and deep colour that characterise this single malt whisky. Maturation in these casks gives the Glenfarclas 9 Year Old an exquisite balance between sweet, nutty notes and spicy Elements.

Tasting Note

Colour: Rich gold.

Nose: Sherry casks, ripe grapes, cardamom and cinnamon.

Palate: Smooth, well-rounded, intense vanilla, toasted nuts, juicy raisins, dates, sweet sherry notes.

Finish: Long-lasting, with sherry notes, a hint of nuts and oak.
