Description
Ardbeg The Ultimate Private Single Cask No. 3201 56.2% ABV 0.7l in a gift box online kaufen
Unofficially, whisky has been distilled at the Ardbeg Distillery since 1794 – in 1815, the distillery was purchased by John McDougall and officially opened under the name Ardbeg.
‘Ardbeg’ comes from the Gaelic language and translates roughly as ‘little hill’.
The distillery is situated on the south coast of the Islay whisky region.
Ardbeg The Ultimate Private Single Cask Cask No. 3201 enriches the exclusive partnership between Weisshaus and Ardbeg and celebrates the unmistakable Ardbeg style in a special way. This single cask, reserved exclusively for the Weisshaus Shop, began its maturation on 1 August 2012. Over the course of 11 years, the whisky matured in first-fill bourbon casks, intensifying its typical Ardbeg characteristics. With a worldwide limited edition of just 180 bottles, this rare whisky embodies the essence of the distillery in its most extraordinary form.
