Maestro Mezcalero Leonel Hernández adheres to the motto ‘fruit instead of meat’ and creatively reinterprets the traditional pechuga method. Instead of a chicken breast, he uses agave hearts during distillation and hangs a select fruit cocktail of bananas, apples, peaches and oranges in the still. This special technique gives the mezcal its unique fruity flavours.

Produced in the region of Oaxaca, steeped in tradition, Local Mezcal is made from the high-quality Espadín agave (A. angustifolia), which is prized for its multifaceted flavours and exceptional quality.
