The Tamnavulin Distillery, founded in 1966 in the picturesque village of Tomnavoulin in Scotland, has had an eventful history. After the distillery closed its doors in 1995, it reopened in 2007 following extensive refurbishment and has since been producing outstanding single malt whisky that embodies the authentic Speyside character. The name ‘Tamnavulin’ is derived from Gaelic and means ‘mill on the hill’, a tribute to the historic mill that once stood on the distillery’s grounds.

The latest release, the Red Wine Cask Edition, impresses with its unique maturation in French red wine casks that previously held Cabernet Sauvignon. This special maturation process lends the whisky a rich palette of flavours, including sweet red berries, juicy plums and spicy cinnamon. This combination makes the whisky an exciting discovery for connoisseurs seeking an extraordinary taste experience.
