The Glenmorangie distillery, founded in 1843 in the Scottish Highlands near Tain, is renowned for its exquisite single malt Scotch whiskies. Sweet, seductive and wonderfully creamy – Glenmorangie A Tale of Ice Cream is a Scotch single malt whisky inspired by the delights of an ice-cream parlour. This limited edition is the fifth release in the award-winning ‘A Tale Of...’ series and is a testament to the Highland distillery’s boundless creativity.

To bring out Glenmorangie’s sweetest and creamiest flavours, the whisky makers blended single malts matured in casks with high vanilla content as well as in bourbon casks. The result: a delicious blend of peach Melba, lemon sorbet, vanilla, toffee and a hint of coconut.

Tasting Note

Colour: Bronze.

Nose: Candied orange peel, ripe peaches, coconuts, Manuka honey, creamy vanilla sauce, marzipan, toffee sweets, spices.

Palate: Rich, creamy, spicy notes, marzipan, honeycomb, spices such as cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg, lemon sorbet, desiccated coconut.

Finish: Long-lasting, candied apples, sweet popcorn, a hint of aniseed.
