Sibona La Grappa di UVEDILANGA 40% vol. 0.5l online kaufen

Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona S.p.A. is situated in the heart of Piedmont, more specifically in Piobesi d'Alba, right in the centre of the region where some of Piedmont’s finest wines originate. It is one of the oldest and most traditional distilleries in Piedmont, which gives it a special status within Italian distilling culture.

Owing to this long tradition and its historical significance, Sibona holds the prestigious ‘Licenza di Distillazione No. 1’. This rare distilling licence is awarded by the Italian tax authorities only to distilleries that stand out for their exceptional history and consistent quality. Distilleria Sibona thus embodies not only artisanal excellence, but also the legacy of a centuries-old tradition that is carried forward in the production of top-quality products.

Sibona’s Uvedilanga is an outstanding grape brandy characterised by its rounded body and intense fruity notes. It is produced primarily from vinified Moscato grapes from the renowned Langhe region, with the grape skins also being incorporated into the process. Following a long and slow fermentation, distillation takes place immediately afterwards to preserve the freshness and aromas of the grapes.

The grape brandy is gently distilled in copper stills in a water bath, resulting in a particularly gentle production process. The young Uve di Langs is then left to rest for an extended period in stainless steel tanks, during which time it develops its characteristic balance and aromatic profile. This process ensures a grape brandy of the highest quality and purity.
