Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona S.p.A. is situated in the heart of Piedmont, more specifically in Piobesi d’Alba, right in the centre of the region where some of the finest Piedmontese wines originate. This rare distilling licence is awarded by the Italian tax authorities only to distilleries that stand out for their exceptional history and consistent quality. Grappa 8 Anni is an exceptional grappa produced from the distillation of pomace derived from grapes used in the production of Barolo wine. Following an initial ageing period in stainless steel tanks, the grappa matures for eight years in oak casks and barriques. This lengthy ageing process lends it a distinctive smoothness and complexity, allowing unique and elegant aromas to unfold.

The combination of the quality of the Barolo grapes and the meticulous ageing process ensures an unmistakable character. With its nuanced and harmonious aromas, it is an excellent ‘meditation grappa’, perfect for enjoying during quiet moments and savouring its full complexity.
