In 1995, Don Roberto Orendain Jr., together with his sons, founded the ‘La Purísima’ distillery, drawing on a rich family history. Roberto Orendain comes from a family of pioneers in the tequila industry, which has been producing tequila since 1924, thus continuing the family’s long tradition.

With the founding of La Purísima, they are building on a history stretching back over 400 years, during which both time-honoured family traditions and comprehensive expertise in the craft of tequila-making have been upheld. Today, the La Purísima distillery ranks among the largest and most significant producers in the tequila industry, which impressively underlines its success.

Don Roberto Añejo is an ultra-premium tequila made from 100% agave and produced using a particularly precise manufacturing process. Only the finest agave plants are carefully selected to ensure the tequila’s high quality. Once the blend has been created, it is aged for 24 months in white oak casks, resulting in an exceptional tequila characterised by its complex flavour and wonderful aromas.
