In 1995, Don Roberto Orendain Jr., together with his sons, founded the ‘La Purísima’ distillery, drawing on a rich family history. Roberto Orendain comes from a family of pioneers in the tequila industry, which has been producing tequila since 1924, thus continuing the family’s long tradition.

With the founding of La Purísima, they are building on a history spanning over 400 years, in which both time-honoured family traditions and extensive expertise in the craft of tequila-making are carried forward. Today, the La Purísima distillery ranks among the largest and most significant producers in the tequila industry, which impressively underlines its success.

Don Roberto Reposado is one of the finest product ranges from the Hacienda Purísima distillery. This tequila is produced through a meticulous yet traditional production process in which nothing is left to chance. Thanks to a careful selection of agave fields, which allows only the very best plants to be used, and following 10 months’ ageing in American white oak casks, an outstanding reposado tequila is created, distinguished by its unmistakable character.
