In 1995, Don Roberto Orendain Jr., together with his sons, founded the ‘La Purísima’ distillery, drawing on a rich family history. Roberto Orendain comes from a family of pioneers in the tequila industry, which has been producing tequila since 1924, thus continuing the family’s long tradition.

With the founding of La Purísima, they are building on a history spanning over 400 years, in which both time-honoured family traditions and extensive expertise in the art of tequila-making are carried forward. Today, the La Purísima distillery ranks among the largest and most significant producers in the tequila industry, which impressively underlines its success.

Don Roberto Plata from the Hacienda Purísima distillery is a Mexican ultra-premium silver tequila with an alcohol content of 40 per cent, produced exclusively from 100 per cent agave. This exceptional tequila, which is distinguished in particular by its purity, is created through a meticulous and traditional production process. After being aged for two months in stainless-steel tanks, the tequila develops its characteristic properties during this time, which lend it its exceptional quality and elegance.
