Signatory Vintage Scotch is recognised worldwide as one of the most prestigious independent bottlers of Scotch, synonymous with exceptional exclusivity. By carefully selecting malt from Scotland’s most prestigious distilleries and focusing on individual batches and casks, Signatory creates a product known as a ‘single, single, single malt’ – a mark of the utmost exclusivity.

As an independent bottler, Signatory has the opportunity to acquire selected casks from across Scotland – which are normally used in blends – and to market them as single malts under its own label. This process involves the careful selection of specific distillations or batches from the distilleries, meticulous tasting of every single cask, and bottling only the highest-quality casks from each batch.

The 10-year-old Whitlaw Whisky from the Signatory Vintage series is an outstanding single malt, selected by Signatory from exceptional individual casks – including rare bottlings from closed distilleries. Founded by Andrew Symington in the late 1980s, the company has always maintained close ties with renowned distilleries and today holds more than 10,000 carefully selected casks in its warehouses.

This special island whisky is matured in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and second-fill Oloroso sherry casks, giving it a complex and nuanced flavour profile. Bottled at a slightly higher strength of 46 per cent, it contains no added colourings. The Whitlaw is characterised by its mild, smooth flavour, making it an excellent choice for both seasoned connoisseurs and newcomers alike.
