Maison Ferrand, a family-run business established in 1989, was founded through a partnership between Alexandre Gabriel and the long-established Pierre Ferrand family, one of France’s oldest cognac producers. Headquartered in Paris, the company is dedicated to the rediscovery and production of cognacs that express the authentic, distinctive style of Grande Champagne. Alexandre Gabriel’s vision was to produce cognac that reflects the historic charm of this renowned wine-growing region in every bottle.

Pierre Ferrand cognacs are distinguished by the fact that they are made exclusively from rare Grande Champagne grapes, which lends them a special quality. The ‘Ambré’ cuvée pays homage to the golden age of cognac and stands out for its floral and fruity nuances, which are typical of Grande Champagne.

The Trebbiano and Colombard grape varieties are used in the distillation process; they are specifically selected to further intensify the cognac’s floral notes and create a complex, aromatic profile.

Tasting Note

Nose: Delicate, vanilla, raisins, violets, hints of plums, apricots, apple and pear tart.

Palate: Balanced, fruity, stone fruit, vanilla.
