V-Sinne Black Forest STAR TREK 5344 Aldebaran Spirit, with an alcohol content of 38% vol. and a bottle size of 0.7 l, is a special spirit that draws inspiration from a legendary Szene from the Star Trek universe. Ever since the episode ‘By Any Other Name’ was broadcast in 1968 – in which Scotty pulled the ‘green’ drink from under the bar and served it with the words ‘It’s green!’ – Star Trek fans have speculated as to what drink it might have been. This iconic Szene was paid further homage in the 1992 episode “Relics”, in which Data handed an aged Scotty a similar green bottle. Finally, in a later episode, Captain Jean-Luc Picard explained that this mysterious drink was Aldebaran Whisky, a rare and potent spirit in the 24th century.
