The Platzer Welschriesling Klassik 2024 is a typical yet meticulously vinified Austrian quality white wine that authentically reflects the distinct style of Styria. Produced by the Platzer Winery, this Welschriesling embodies freshness, drinking pleasure and a consistently classic approach. The grapes come from selected vineyards in Styria, where the climatic conditions provide ideal circumstances for a fruit-driven and lively expression of this grape variety.
The Platzer Welschriesling Klassik is vinified using the traditional Styrian method and matured in stainless steel tanks, allowing the variety’s characteristic aromas to come clearly to the fore. As a dry white wine, the 2024 vintage impresses with its freshness, precision and balanced structure. With a moderate alcohol content of 11.5 per cent, this Welschriesling from Austria is light-footed, lively and versatile. Its distinct style makes it attractive both for immediate enjoyment and for short-term cellaring. Tasting Note
In the glass, it displays a pale yellow colour with fresh highlights. On the nose, distinct fruity notes of green apple and hints of citrus dominate. On the palate, the wine is lively and precise, with a fine acidity and distinct fruit. The finish is fresh, elegant and clean.
