Loimu, the Finnish vintage glögg from the long-established Lignell & Piispanen distillery, has become a true cult drink of the winter season in recent years. Its popularity extends far beyond Finland’s borders and it is now enjoyed by connoisseurs in numerous countries.

Loimu is produced each year in strictly limited quantities and with the utmost artisanal care.

In 2021, the flavour is dominated by redcurrants and fruity raspberries, which harmonise perfectly with delicately balanced festive spices.

Tasting Note

Finish: Long-lasting.

This glögg is a speciality that warms you up after a walk or helps you unwind in the evening. Loimu should be heated slowly to around 60 °C to allow its flavours to fully develop.
