Description
Bauers Geile Nuss Haselnuss Spirituose is a schnapps from the Franz Bauer distillery in Styria that offers a full-bodied but balanced flavour experience at 33% vol. This hazelnut schnapps is produced using a double distillation process to optimally extract the flavours of the roasted hazelnuts and ensure the purest taste. The careful production and high-quality ingredients give this schnapps a unique, full-bodied character.
Bauer's Geile Nuss unfolds the nutty depth of roasted hazelnuts in every sip, harmonising perfectly with a gentle sweetness. This powerful spirit is ideal for pure enjoyment or as an ingredient in cocktails such as a Nutty Negroni or a Hazelnut Sour.
Tasting Note
Colour: Clear with a light golden shimmer.
Nose: Roasted hazelnuts with a hint of caramel and a subtle sweetness.
Flavour: Full-bodied and nutty, with a harmonious blend of fresh hazelnuts, spice and a slight sweetness to round off the taste.
Finish: Langs on the palate, with a strong nutty aftertaste.
It harmonises excellently with cheese, especially hard cheese or delicate cream cheese, as well as with chocolatey desserts such as tarts or truffles.
